Here is what Suzanne Riggio had to say about her quilt. "Nineteen sixty-nine was an auspicious year for quilters because Quilter's Newsletter Magazine made its debut. Having arrived in her psychedelic VW bus, adorned with other 1969 events, a bell-bottomed, tie-dyed, peace-symboled girl reads Volume I, Number 1, with other artifacts of that year strewn about."  I was 15 in 1969, and I was living near San Francisco.  I also owned a bug, so this quilt brings back some fond memories.
